Untried Untested is an experimental room with bodies and other objects. The performers carry out candid examinations on the materiality of objects, themselves and each other. The naïevty of their experiments masks a determination to discover new relations. This brings them into situations that are funny, unexpected and sometimes dangerous.
In Untried Untested, we are invited to refresh our view of ourselves and the world around us by questioning the elements and objects that seem familiar. The traditional hierarchy which places humans neatly at the top is destabilised.
Untried Untested was commissioned and produced by CAMPO in Gent, Belgium.
